Né en 1956 à Racht, au nord de l’Iran — une ville côtière de la mer Caspienne et capitale de la province du Guilan —, je suis Ata Irvani, franco-iranien. J’ai grandi et effectué ma scolarité, du primaire au secondaire, dans des établissements franco-persans à Téhéran.Installé en France depuis 1977, j’y ai poursuivi des études supérieures en sociologie, avec une spécialisation dans l’organisation du travail, ainsi qu’en informatique.
Dès 1981, je me suis tourné vers le domaine de l’automatisation — englobant l’informatisation, la robotisation et, aujourd’hui, ce que l’on pourrait appeler l’“internetisation” — en étudiant ses impacts sur l’organisation du travail et l’emploi.
Parallèlement, passionné par l’architecture et tout ce qui touche de près ou de loin à l’art, j’ai exploré une voie distincte de mes études initiales. J’ai d’abord construit mon parcours professionnel dans les secteurs du second œuvre du bâtiment et du design.
De 1985 à 1995, j’ai conçu, fabriqué et commercialisé des produits dédiés à l’aménagement et à l’architecture d’intérieur. Durant cette période, j’ai également inventé, créé et déposé des brevets, modèles, marques et logos à l’INPI (Institut national de la propriété industrielle) à Paris.
Depuis 1995, j’évolue dans le domaine de l’ingénierie multimédia et d’Internet.
Enfin, depuis plus de cinquante ans, je cultive une pratique artistique à travers la photographie, l'écriture, le dessin et la peinture, guidé par ma philosophie, mon regard et ma vision personnelle.
Born in 1956 in Rasht, in northern Iran—a coastal city on the Caspian Sea and the capital of Gilan Province—I am Ata Irvani, a Franco-Iranian. I grew up and completed my primary and secondary education in Franco-Persian schools in Tehran.
Since moving to France in 1977, I have pursued higher education in sociology, specializing in the organization of work, as well as in computer science.
Starting in 1981, I turned my focus to the field of automation—encompassing computerization, robotics, and what we might now call "internetization"—studying its impacts on work organization and employment.
At the same time, passionate about architecture and everything related to art, I explored a path distinct from my initial studies. I first built my professional career in the finishing trades of the construction industry and in design.
From 1985 to 1995, I designed, manufactured, and marketed products dedicated to interior architecture and design. During this period, I also invented, created, and registered patents, models, trademarks, and logos with the INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property) in Paris.
Since 1995, I have been working in the field of multimedia and internet engineering.
Finally, for over fifty years, I have cultivated an artistic practice through photography, writing, drawing, and painting, guided by my philosophy, perspective, and personal vision.
